Short cv
Aspa Togia studied History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She holds a Master’s degree in Library Science from the University of Sheffield, UK and a PhD in History of Science from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has worked for many years as a librarian in the Library of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2007 she is faculty member at the Department of Library, Archival and Information Studies of the International Hellenic University.
Teaching
Aspa has been teaching, coordinating and developed a number of bachelor’s and master’s courses within the Department, including Information resources for research, Information policy, Information literacy, Subject analysis and indexing, Advanced cataloguing, Organisation and management of digital collections, and Information seeking. In addition to teaching, she has supervised students at both the Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
